Government Multipurpose Higher Secondary School won the toss and elected to bat scoring 102 runs losing 10 wickets in 19.2 overs. Sampat Raikar (20) and Vicky Madar (19) were at their best in batting. In the bowling department, Shivam Varik 3/14 and Brijesh Faldessai 3/31 excelled.
In reply, S.S. Angle Higher Secondary School managed to score 93 runs losing 10 wickets in 19.2 overs. Brijesh Faldessai 17 topped scored. Government Multipurpose HSS’ Rahul Jiddi 3/14, Vicky Madar 3/23 and Sampat Raikar 2/8 rattled the batting line up.
In another match, Deepvihar Higher Secondary School scored 14-run victory over Kamakshi Higher Secondary School.
Deepvihar won the toss and elected to bat amassing 120 runs with five wickets falling in 20 overs. Kashyap Bakhle scored a half century and laid the foundation for the team’s victory with 62 runs. Deviprakash Kamat 2/19 and Girish Palkar 2/26 tried their best to contain the rival team.
Kamakshi in their reply scored 106 losing 10 wickets in 18.4 overs. Anand Warad 4/17 and Vishal Kewat 4/24 were the wrecker-in-chief.
