MAPUSA: Kevnem SC trounced Merces SC by 5-1 margin in the GFA’s 3rd Division League (Ilhas Zone) match played at St Cruz ground, on Wednesday.
Kevnem colts went into the breather with a 4-1 margin. Mohit Nagu, Sahil Murgaonkar and Manoj Shirvoikar (2) and Abhay Gawas scored for the winners, while Savrau Naik scored the consolation goal for Merces club.
Royston Mendes of Merces SC received a red card and was sent off by Referee Aaron Cardozo.
