CAVELOSsIM: Khandi Bandoi ‘A’, with a mix of youth and veterans, played a cool game to dominate ITS and beat them via the tie-breaker 4-2 when both teams were locked 1-1 at the end of the regulation time to enter the semifinal of Edoviso Dias Memorial Soccer organised by Santa Cruz Club of Cavelossim and played at Fr Druston and Wellington ground, Cavelossim on Sunday.
Khandi Bandoi took the lead when Charles Rodrigues headed the corner kick taken by Alex, beating alert keeper of ITS Vogukan in the goal.
ITS however restored parity when Alan combined well with Dylan Lobo to score from a very tight angle on the left flank.
In the resultant tie-breaker Alex, Asher, Aston and Charles scored for Khadi Bandoi A, while Jori and Dylan succeeded in their kicks for ITS.
