CAVELOSSIM: Khandi Bandoi Boys downed favourites BDG 3-0 to enter the finals of the Edoviso Dias Memorial soccer organised by Santa Cruz Club of Cavelossim and played at Fr Druston and Wellington ground, Cavelossim on Thursday.
Bandoi Boys lead 1-0 in the first half with a goal by veteran Charles Rodrigues who took advantage of defender Poly’s failure to clear the ball in the penalty area, to shoot the ball in the top corner of the goal.
Crossing over Bandoi Boys kept up the pressure with goals from rising stars Flanco Rodrigues and Asher Rodrigues to march, into their maiden finals and Mobor. Sheriff Jaques and Vinson Pereira played well for BDG.
Khandi Bandol Boys will meet TP Boys in the final on Sunday.
