MAPUSA/RAIA: Bidesh XI SC thrashed Dunes SC by 7-1 margin in the GFA’s Second Division League match played at Poriat ground, Calangute, on Friday.
It was the Dunes SC team which stunned their opponents with Anthony Lobo opening the account in the very 10th minute of play with a neat placement 1-0.
Bidesh XI SC not only levelled terms just three minutes later though Dalesh Pednekar but saw Krish Naroji score a hat-trick with Dalesh, Rajat Chopdekar and Saiesh Kavlekar adding their names to the scorers list.
At SAG ground, Benaulim, Carmel SC hammered UC Telaulim 12-0. Keegan Fernandes scored four, Sandeep Choudhary netted a hat-trick, Maxvin Fernandes scored a brace while Tanvir Bagalkot, Jollyton Fernandes and Noah Luis netted a goal each for Carmel SC.
At Don Bosco Oratory ground, Fatorda, St Anthony’s SC Assolda, moved past Guirdolim SC by 4-2 goals. Handlee Carvalho, Valento Fernandes, Jaison Dias and Reagan Fernandes scored a goal each for St Anthony’s SC, while Lawren Fernandes and Jilto Tavares netted a goal each for Guirdolim SC.
