MORJIM: Kuchelim Veterans registered a comfortable 3-0 win over FC Tuem Veterans in the 1st Morjim Veterans Football Cup organised by Morjim Veterans played at Village Panchayat ground, Morjim.
Napolean Fernandes, Adv Raju Poulekar and Peter D’Souza were the goal scorers for the winners.
In the second match Siolim Veterans got the better of Candolim Veterans by 3-1 margin.
Rajesh Pomburpekar scored a brace while Ravikant Pednekar made it 3-0.
In the last five minutes of the match Candolim managed to reduce the margin by scoring one goal through boots of Simon Fernandes.
Goalkeeper of Siolim Francis Fernandes was awarded man of the match.
