CHANDOR: Kumborda Boys edged past Costa Cruise 5-4 via the tie-breaker to move into the semi-finals of the 15th All-Goa Seamen’s Football Tournament organised by Villa Marex Boys, Chandor and played at Villa Marex ground, Chandor, on Thursday.
Costa Cruise went ahead in the 20th minute through the boots of Myson.
After the lemon break rejuvenated Kumorda side came back stronger and equalised in the 50th minute through Raju.
At full-time the scores were levelled 1-1.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Kumorda Boys converted through Sanny, Melvin, Mario and Raju while Myson, Aston and Savio netted for Costa Cruise.
