PANJIM: The Goa Cricket Association (GCA) has selected Lakshay Garg to captain the Goa team which will be participating in the late JY Lele all-India under-19 One-Day invitational tournament, organized by Baroda Cricket Association from September 21 to 29, at Baroda.
The other players are Snehal Kauthankar, Ishan Gadekar, Vedant Naik, Amulya Pandrekar, Samar Dubashi, Shubham Desai, Shubham Kesarkar, Neeraj Yadav, Deepraj Gaonkar, Suyash Prabhudesai, Achit Shigwan, Vijesh Prabhudesai, Manjunath Vantamuri, Maruthi Huggi and Akshay Naik.
The team is coached by Vivek Kolambkar, who will be assisted by Ninad Pawaskar. Santosh Karigar will travel with the team as video analysts; trainer, Govind Lotlikar; manager, Sujay Naik and convenor Sanjay Kanekar.
