The all-important goal was scored in the 15th minute by Alex Rodrigues. The second half was dominated by Al-Lila Diwa with Rouque Pereira and Mario Coelho trying hard in search of the equalizer but the rival defence comprising of Charlie Rodrigues, Agnelo Passainha and Sunil Kunpaikar left them frustrated with timely tackles. The winning team received Rs 10,000 and a trophy while the runners-up had to be content with Rs 8,000 and a trophy.
Former-MP Churchill Alemao was the chief guest while Fr Jose Ubaldo D’Cunha was the guest of honour.
