PANJIM: Lethal Shooters edged out Pirate Gang 105-102 to emerge champions in Enthu Badminton League organized by Enthu Buddies in collaboration with Panjim Badminton Club (PBC) at Campal, on Sunday.
Both Lethal Strikers and Pirate Gang emerged with 6 wins apiece after 7 rounds in the 8-team league. But, having won the head-to-head tie in the final round, Lethal Shooters were crowned champions. Anubis Squad, led by Shirish Nadkarni, and Cosmic Warfare, led by Arcot Devdas, claimed the third and fourth places respectively.
Lethal Shooters comprised Amit Kakkar (captain), Parag Chauhan, Archana UV, Ashutosh Naik, Chaithanya Chakravarthi, Chanchalakshi Kulal, Sandeep Heble, and Sanjib Hazra.
The Pirate Gang – Mahesh Prabhu (captain), Sanjay Kumar, Ajish Kumar, Shankar Rivankar, Marina Albuquerque, Pankaj Lunge, Ravi Sarangapani, Shikha Lamb, Veerpal Singh Verma.
