BENAULIM: Livrament Boys Arlem got the better of Unique Boys 4-3 and moved into the quarterfinals of the the first all-Goa Bab Bakery football tournament, organised by Bab Bakery Benaulim in memory of Anthony Fernandes at Xemu moll ground, Benaulim on Tuesday.
Livrament Boys netted the first goal through Myron Fernandes in the 9th minute but Unique boys equalized within five minutes through Triston Lopes. Minutes later, Myron Fernandes netted the second for Livrament but the joy was short- lived as Triston Lopes levelled terms for Unique Boys in the 25th minute.
As the match progressed in the second half Cavin Pinto made it 3-2 for Unique Boys. Livrament Boys scored more goals through Myron Fernandes and made it 4-3 in favour of Livrament. Unique Boys fought back in search of an equaliser, but this time Livrament defended well till the end.
