MAPUSA: Lobo Lions registered a solitary goal win over Bhatti Brothers to enter the semis of the Parra Panchayat Football Cup 2021 organised by PVC Association at Parra grounds here on Saturday.
The ten wards are competing in the inter-ward tournament where Lobo Lions secured their first place into the semi-finals.
The all important goal came from the boots of Daniel Lobo in the 60th minute of play. It was some fine keeping from Bhatti Brothers keeper Samuel who time and again brought some smart saves to keep the score sheet low.
Chandanand Harmalkar of Bhatti Brothers received the man-of-the-match award.
