RAIA: Kamikaze Lourdes beat Sonics Porvorim 42-35 in the boys semi-final of Don Bosco Fatorda- AOA Basketball Academy tournament at Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda, on Friday.
Jason with 17 points shone for Lourdes. David with 10 points led the way for the Sonics team.
In the girls semi-final, Saligao hoopsters managed to overcome Sonics Porvorim 22-17. Assuciana with 14 points led the way for Saligao. Trisha with 12 played well for Sonics.
Hosts Don Bosco, Fatorda, got the better of NCS, Vasco 35-28 in the boys semi-final. Bradley with 13 points was outstanding for Oratory. Udayan with 8 points topscored for the Naval team.
Yesterday, Sharda Mandir got the better of Don Bosco Oratory, Panjim, 21-18 in the girls section.
Tamanna with 11 points topscored for Sharda Mandir. Sarah with 8 points played well for the Panjim team.
In boys section, Naval Children’s School (NCS) had an easy outing against KJs Miramar 37-3. Udayan and Adi with 8 points apiece top scored for NCS
