In the first semi-finals, on Tuesday, Loyola trounced St Britto High School, Mapusa 3-0. The winners led 1-0 at half time.
Loyola started brightly and Aaron Barreto gave them the lead in the 11th minute with a clinical strike.
St Britto tried hard to equalize but couldn’t convert the chances that came their way.
The teams stepped up their game in the second half and fought hard to score but it was Loyola who doubled their advantage in the 50th minute as Warren Pereira finished neatly.
Trinidade Osrick secured a final berth for Loyola’s with the third goal in the final quarter.
In the second semi-finals, Don Bosco edged past St Stanislaus High School, 5-4 after the teams were locked goalless at full time.
Aman Govekar, Edward Pereira, Sanket Kunkolkar, Aaron D’Costa and Shanon Viegas scored for Don Bosco in the ensuing tie-breaker.
St Stanislaus, Josiah Noronha, Keegan Pinto, Justin Dharmai and Vicky Karkada converted form the spot-kick.
