DAVORLIM: Macazana Welfare Association will take on St Anthony SC, Assolda in the final of the 12th Rosary Cup All-Goa Inter-Village football tournament on Friday, at Zoriwado ground, Davorlim, at 4.30 p.m.
Macazana Welfare Association will bank on Edgar Noronha and Nick Noronha while St Anthony SC Assolda will rely on Soccoro Fernandes and Seby Fernandes to score.
St Anthony SC, Assolda edged past Margao SC 1-0 in the first semi-final while Macazana Welfare Association defeated Sportinng Club of Davorlim 2-0 in the second semi-final.
Minister for Fisheries, Avertano Furtado will be the chief guest for the final while the guest of honour will be Fr Protosio Soares, parish priest of Davorlim.
The winner will be awarded Rs 50,000 and the runner-up will take home Rs 30,000 along with trophies.
