RAIA: Maina SC, Curtorim, defeated Rossman Cruz, Nagoa-Verna, 3-0 to secure their place in the semi-finals of 32nd Super Soccer tournament in memory of Joao Francis Fernandes at Dando ground, Benaulim, Monday.
Right from the kick-off, Curtorim showcased their teamwork and relentless attacking powwer. Joshua Rebeĺlo broke the deadlock in the 3rd minute, putting Curtorim ahead.
Despite Verna’s efforts to regroup after half-time, they struggled to make progress as Milagres Fernandes of Curtorim netted two more goals in the 16th and 23rd minutes.
A well-oiled and dominant performance by Curtorim ensured a deserved and convincing victory. Milagres Fernandes of Curtorim was presented the man-of-the match award by Anthony Rodrigues.
