CHANDOR: Top seed Mallika Gogoi set up a title clash with number two seed Sukriti Das, in Ladies singles category at the 4th Naguesh and Sushila Verenker Memorial All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, organized by Chandor Club under the aegis of Goa Table Tennis Association(GTTA).
In the semi finals played at at Chandor Club Complex, Mallika Gogoi blanked out Aditi Chodankar 3-0 while Sukriti Das came back strongly from two sets down to edge out Prutha Parrikar with a 3-2 scoreline.
Prutha Parrikar made amends for her heartbreaking loss in Ladies singles with a comfortable 3-0 win over Trisha Verlekar in Junior Girls semi finals.
She will meet Sanisha Shetye who defeated Aditi Chodankar 3-2 in a thrilling see saw match in the other semi finals.
