NERUL: Mandopa SC, Navelim downed Milagres SC 3-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the Nerul SC Golden Jubilee Cup, at Nerul ground, on Saturday.
Mandopa SC netted the first goal of the match through Prestly Gomes’ placement shot in the 11th minute.
Nine minutes later, Prestly Gomes netted his second and 2-0 for Mandopa while Stefan Martins of Milagres SC pulled a goal back in the 36th minute.
As the match progressed, in the 58th minute, Mandopa’s Maxton Gomes made it 3-1.Mandopa’s Travis Gomes received the man-of-the-match award from Rohan.
