PANJIM: Mandopa Sports Club registered a 5-1 win over Varca Sports Club in the Goa Football Association Second Division League at Artificial Turf ground, Fatorda, on Thursday.
Mandopa SC led 1-0 at the break with Presley Gomes scoring in the 17th minute. Mandopa’s Joseph Gomes was sent off for using abusive language.
In the second half, Varca SC made it all square in the 49th minute through C Noronha.
Mandopa regained the lead in the 54th minute through an Anil Shivolkar own goal and then there was no stopping as they scored three more goals through Travis Souza and a Langston Luis double.
