PANJIM: Mandovi Athletic Club, Goa distributed athletic kits to 20 athletes belonging to different parts of Goa who have achieved laurels at the state as well as at the national level, here, Friday.
In their ‘Mission National Games’ Mandovi Athletic Club have adopted 20 athletes who would be providing them diet, kit, exposure to competition in other states and also would be providing scholarship to these athletes in the coming years. The kits were distributed by chief guest VM Prabhudesai, director DSYA in the presence of Juliana Gurjao, deputy director Paresh Kamat, president of Mandovi Athletic Club and Chetan Kavlekar, secretary.
Earlier, Chetan Kavlekar, secretary welcomed. Later, Shripad Kundaikar, vice-president proposed the vote of thanks.
