LOILEM: Mandovi Boys defeated Wadi Boys in the final of the All Goa tennis ball cricket tournament organised by Sundevils SC Pole, at Kolmt ground, recently.
Electing to bat first, Mandovi Boys scored 22 runs in two overs for the loss of 2 wickets while Wadi Boys could score 11 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 3 overs.
The winners were awarded Rs 33,333 plus the trophy while the runners-up bagged Rs 22,222. The third place winners received Rs 15,555.
The guests for the final were — VP Loliem Polem Sarpanch Ajay Lolienkar, Freedom Fighter LaximanDad Naik, former Painguin Sarpanch Janardhan Bhandri, Panch VP Loliem Polem Anup Kurtadkar and other dignitaries.
