MAPUSA: Mandrem beat Pirna, 2-1 to emerge winners of the Foot Fest 7-a-side inter-parish football tournament organised by Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church Parish Youth of Moira, at A.A.de Moira Club ground recently.
A total of 22 teams from various parishes across Goa participated in the tournament.
The winners took home a trophy and cash prize of Rs 15,000 while the runners-up was awarded a trophy and cash prize of Rs 10,000.
The chief guest for the function was GFA Vice-President North Goa Lavinio Rebello and gave away the prizes to the winners and runners-up in the presence of Moira Parish Youth Animator, Fr Walter Rodrigues and the President of Moira Parish Youth, Jonas Fernandes.
