MAPUSA/RAIA: Kevenem SC drubbed Aivao UFC by 5-1 margin in the GFA’s Third Division League (Ilhas Zone) held at St Cruz ground, on Thursday.
The teams went into the breather with Kevenem leading by 3-1 margin.Manoj Shirvoikar netted a hat-trick with Mohit Nagu and Swet Jalmi adding their names on the scoresheet for the winners while only Suraj Gauns managed to pull a goal for Aivao.
Santa Cruz Society of Poitomaddo defeated St Sebastian Union Club of Benaulim 5-1 in the play-off match played at Navelim ground, on Thursday. Vayne Pires scored a brace while Viraj Velip, Vinod Velp and Kanaujiya Prasad scored a goal each for Poitomaddo. The only goal for St Sebastian USC was netted by Keegan Fernandes.
