After a barren first session, Nuvem broke the deadlock in the 15th minute of the second half through former India international and Arjuna Awardee Bruno Coutinho, who was assisted by former Dempo SC striker Marcus Carvalho.
Both the teams provided an end-to-end action. Majorda Veterans controlled the midfield through Remmy Barretto but Nuvem looked dangerous through Marcus and Bruno.
Nuvem were awarded a trophy and Rs 30,000 while Majorda Veterans had to settle for the runners-up trophy and Rs 25,000.
Chief guest and MLA of Benaulim Constituency Caitano Silva gave away the prizes in the presence of guest of honour Deputy Collector South Goa Ajith Panchwadkar.
