PANJIM: Margao Veterans will clash with Bardez Veterans in the final of the Late Ramchandra G. Pankar All Goa T-20 Veterans cricket tournament organised by Dost Cricket Club of Khorlim and played at Porvorim Cricket Academy ground.
In the first semis, Bardez Veterans defeated Panjim Veterans by 7 wickets while in the second semis, Margao Veterans defeated Dost CC by 77 runs. Panjim Veterans scored 99 runs for the loss of 9 in the allotted 20 overs wherein Suresh Mahadevan (32) and Manuel Pereira (14) were the top scorers.
In reply, Bardez Veterans scored 100 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 15.4 overs.
Suresh Mahadevan picked two wickets while Anand Majalikar managed to take a wicket for Panjim Veterans. The man-of-the-match was awarded to Shekhar Malwankar of Bardez Veterans.
In another match, Margao Veterans defeated Dost CC 76 runs wherein they scored 215 with a loss of 3 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
