FATORDA: Marina English HS, Verna blanked St Mary’s HS, Varca 3-0 to move into the next round of the U-14 Subroto Mukherjee boys football tournament organised by DSYA, at Artificial turf, Fatorda, on Tuesday.
Rosewelt Pereira scored a brace in the 19th and 20th minutes to make it 2-0 for Marina.
Rize Abranches too recorded his name on the scoresheet to make it 3-0 for Marina in the 40th minute.
In the second match of the day, The Kings School, Sao Jose de Areal registered a solitary goal win over Posh English HS, Navelim to move into the next round.
The match winner was scored by Samuel Costa.
