PANJIM: Bachelors IX overcame a stiff resistance from Married IX by scoring a solitary goal victory in an exhibition football match held at Ribandar ground, recently on the occasion of Infant Jesus feast, at Ribandar Church.
Xavier Lobo scored the only goal in the dying minutes of the match.
Parish priest Fr. Alcantr Rodrigues was the chief guest and distributed the prizes and mementos. Alvin compered while Michael Fernandes proposed the vote of thanks.
