Mayem, Betim win

Mayem Union and Betim SC registered victories over Sateri Sports Club, Valpoi and Khorjuvem Cricket Club respectively in 20 overs cricket organised by Mayem Union at Mayem ground on Sunday.
Mayem defeated Sateri by 156 runs. Electing to bat, Mayem scored 217 for the loss of 6 wickets with Sunil Harmalkar (55), Nitesh Narvekar (41), Pradeep Harmalkar (41).
In reply, Sateri were bundled out for 61 runs with Sukdo Gaonkar (10) and Sameer Gaonkar (8).
In bowling, Amritesh Gaonkar picked up 2 wickets while Krishna Gaonkar and Rohidas Gaonkar picked up a wicket each for Sateri. Pradeep Harmalkar, Nitesh Narvekar and Nitin Sawant picked up 2 wickets each for Mayem.
Electing to bat first, Betim scored 132 runs all out with Fareed Khan (40), Nagraj Gawade (19) and Sunny Saini (12). In reply, Khorjuvem managed to score 122 runs all out.
For Khorjuvem, Rupesh Narvekar picked up 3 wickets while Prajyot Pole claimed 2 wickets. For Betim, Pradhan Shetty picked up 3 wickets while Gauresh Sawant picked up 2 wickets.
