 A swashbuckling half century by Siddesh Ramani  enabled MCC to record a 42-run win over La Paz Garden, Vasco  to sail into the semi-final of Goa knock-out cricket tournament at MCC grounds, here on Monday..
Batting first, MCC scored 173 runs in 44.5 overs with Siddesh Ramani (55), Anoop Kolambkar (21) and Aditya Angle (17) being the man contributors  for MCC..
For La Paz Garden. Vidyadhar Kamat was the wrecker-in-chief scalping  four wickets for 32 runs.  Nilesh Naik, Parag  K and Malik S shared two wickets each.
In reply, La Paz Gardens in their chase were bundled out for 126 overs in  40 4 overs. Sujay Kamat (38) was the top scorer for La Paz Gardens, while Vidyadhar Kamat (20) was the other batsman who contributed  valuable  runs while the rest failed miserably.
B. Sayeed returned  figures  of  3-29  and  Saurabh  Kashyap and Rama Kalangutkar chipped in  with two wickets apiece.
