PANJIM: The President of GFA Elvis Gomes today clarified that he was satisfied with the measures taken by the staff at Duler Stadium in providing timely medical attention to Vincy Baretto, a player who was reported injured in the U-20 Taca Goa match between Goan Football Club and Football Club Bardez yesterday.
He was speaking in the wake of the reports of not using the ambulance available at site. “The ambulance was unmanned and unauthorisedly parked at the gate. It had no role to be there blocking access. The player was taken to the hospital within few minute. He was kept under observation and was later discharged,” informed Gomes.
