PONDA: Mharudev Karate Club of Khandepar, Ponda won a total of 16 medals in the international championship organised by Shotokan Karate Association of India (SKAI), at the Indoor Badminton hall, Peddem, Mapusa, recently.
In the competition, Mharudev Karate Club of Khandepar, Ponda won 4 Gold, 5 Silver, and 7 Bronze in the form of Kata and Kumite events.
Teams from Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, Punjab, Delhi, Nepal and Nigeria also participated in the championship.
