MAINA: Micon Warriors got the better of Friends of Paroda 5-2 to move to the quarter-finals of the 16th Rebello Pandal football tournament, organised by Rebello Pandal, at St. Rita church ground, Maina, on Sunday.
Mickon Warriors netted three guick goals through Maxwell Furtado, Sweden Rebello, and Mascon in the fifth, eighth and 20th minutes respectively.
As the match progressed, in the second half, Micon Warriors netted two more goals through Sweden and Velentino in the 56th and 60thminutes respectively.
Friends of Paroda netted two goals through Kanchan Keiro in the 68th and 70th minutes.
