Mignfol oust Secreamvaddo Boys

Mingfol Sports Club came from behind to defeat Secreamvaddo Boys  3-2  to enter the quarter-finals of Catherine Viegas memorial football tournament organised by Union of Chinchinim Villagers at church ground, Chinchinim on Sunday. Mingfol were trailing 0-1 at half time.
Secreavaddo, who had a slight edge over their opponents  in the opening session went into the lead when Anthony bulged the net off Macline Pereira.
Mingfol regrouped quickly and took the fight to the rival camp but the resilient defence of Secreamvaddo never allowed their opponents to score.
The second session belonged to Mingfol who exerted pressure and Babu equalised with a scorcher.
Mingfol intensified their forays and Raju added his name on the scorebard with a gentle push off a Vincy cross.Oslin rounded off the tally.
