The lone goal was scored in the 40th minute by Steven Fernandes off a free-kick which beat Nerul keeper Xavier Estrocio.
In the first half, Nerul had three good scoring chances and dominated the first half but could not capitalize. Quitula Sport Club will take on Friends XI, Vaddem in the next match, on Saturday.
