MAPUSA: Milagres Sports Club got the better of Mormugao United Sports Club 5-3 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the 14th Reira Soccer Trophy, organised by Saligao Sporting Club, at Saligao ground, on Sunday.
Milagres led 2-0 at the break. The goals were scored by Stephen Martins and Elroy Fernandes.
On crossing end, Mormugao SC reduced the margin with a penalty kick in the 50th minute, while in the 63rd minute Stephen Fernandes further increased the tally to 3-1, for Milagres.
Mormugao scored in the 67th and 70th minutes through Harish Ghadi and Bevan Fernandes to take the match into the tie-breaker, where Milagres won the encounter.
