After a barren first half, Merces FC broke the deadlock in 35th minute of play when Jyendra Kunolikar headed in Gauresh Satarphekar’s curling corner, 1-0.
Finding themselves down by a goal, Milagres SC stepped up the attack and managed to level terms in the 58th minute when Lester Martins slotted in the ball from close range.
At the end of regulation time, the score was 1-1.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Edwin Viegas, Sapnesh Gaonkar and Andre scored for Milagres SC while only Octavio Miranda netted for Merces FC.
