Mokhard Saraswart triumph

MARGAO, MARCH 23
Mokhard  Saraswat Sangh, Canacona,  emerged champions in First Premier Cricket league tournament organised by Canacona Saraswat Samaj defeating Loliem Saraswat Samaj by 22 runs in the finals, at Sadolxem ground, on Sunday.
In all, eight teams participated.
Following prizes were awarded: Best player of the tournament — Gautam Shenvi, (Mokharad  Saraswat Samaj), Best fielder — Ramachandra  Prabhu (Mokharad Saraswat Samaj), Man-of-the series — Durgesh Prabhu. 
Earlier, the Canacona Saraswat  Samaj President, Damodar Shenvi  inaugurated  the tournament and later gave away the prizes  in the presence of Dilip Gaitonde, president Youth Wing, Canacona Saraswat  Samaj Purnanand Kenkre; President, women’s wing, Neeta Pai, Datta Moni and Ulhas Pai Khot. 
Anil Kamat welcomed.  Purnanand proposed the vote of thanks.
