RAIA: Mother of Mercy High School defeated Anjuman Himayatul High School Bayana by four wickets to enter the semi-finals of Under-16 Swa Dilip Sardesai Cup Cricket Tournament organized by Goa Cricket Association at MPT ground, Vasco.
Anjuman Himayatul won the toss and batted first. They were all out for 115 runs in 32.3. Raj Mali contributed 30 while Aditya Harijan contributed with 28. Sairaj Gowar of Mother of Mercy took 3 for 21 runs and Gaurav Pednekar 2 wickets for 15 runs.
In reply, Mother of Mercy’s Rushal Swamy scored 42 not out and Shaurya Bandekar’s 17 not out in their total of 116 runs for 4 in 22.1 overs. Roshan Bind of Anjuman Himayatul took 2 for 19 and Sumit Kumar 1 for 36 runs.
