RAIA: Mount Mary’s HSS of Chinchinim, Perpetual Succour Convent HS of Navelim, Fr Agnel Multipurpose HSS of Verna and Rosary HS of Navelim cruise into semifinals of the U-17 boys Subroto Mukherjee football tournament played at Ambelim and Cuncolim ground.
Mt. Mary’s HSS defeated Fr Agnel HS of Verna 5-2. Clyde Pereira scored a brace while Gibbs Pinto, Calvin Fernandes and Nessio Pinto scored a goal each. A goal each by Kluivert Juliao and Samuel Colaco helped Perpetual Succour Convent HS to defeat Basilio Andrade HSS of Majorda.
Fr Agnel Multipurpose HSS defeated St Alex HSS of Curtorim 3-1. Preston Colaco, Christany Xavier and Alloysius Furtado scored for Fr Agnel HSS while Pheren Menezes reduced the margin for St Alex HSS. In the last match, Rosary HS Navelim easily outwitted Mae Dos Pobres HS of Nuvem 5-0. Sam Pereira scored a brace while Sweedon Costa, Manthan Salunke and Siddhesh Biswas were the other scorers.
