RAIA: Mount Mary High School, Our Lady of Health High School and St Thomas High School moved into the quarter-finals of St Joseph Vaz Soccer Cup 2024 U-17 boys inter-school football tournament held at Chinchinim ground on Thursday.
In the first match, Mount Mary High School beat Infant Jesus High School, Colva, 1-0. Mount Mary scored through Eden Velho in the 20th minute.
In the second match, Our Lady of Health High School, Cuncolim down St Jude High School, Betalbatim, 4-1 via the tie-breaker. Cuncolim scored through Nash Coutinho, Mac Fernandes, Mark Pinto and Bryce Fernandes while Gladwin scored the lone goal for St Jude High School
In the 3rd match, St Thomas High School, Cansaulim crushed Our Lady of Carmel High School, Curtorim, 5-0. St Thomas scored a brace through Pradeep kullu and Jeremy Baretto and Jonathan Silva netted a goal.
In the fourth match, Rosary High School, Navelim defeated Mae Dos Pobres High School, Nuvem, 1-0. Rosary High School, Navelim netted through Siddesh Biswas.
