CHINCHINIM: Mount Mary’s High School, Chinchinim, registered a solitary goal victory over Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim, to lift the U-17 St Joseph Vaz soccer cup, organised by Mount Mary’s High School Chinchinim, at Our Lady of Hope church ground, Chinchinim on Monday.
Sohil Shaikh netted the match winner in the ninth minute.
Fr Jose Antonio Da Costa founder of the inter-school St Joseph Vaz football tournament gave away the prizes to the winners and runners-up in the presence of Franco B Martins and other dignitaries .
