PANJIM: Kreeda Bharati, Goa, will organise Mountain Run on the occasion of ‘National Sports Day’, on August 25, in association with the Goa Athletics Association. The route of the run is from Navdurga Temple, Borim to Siddhanath Parvat & back covering 15.5 km.
The age group will be 16 to 30 years for male & female. Cash prizes will be given to the first three winners in both male & female categories. Besides these medals, a T-shirt and a certificate will be given to all the participants.
This year’s run is dedicated to the great Goan athlete and ex general secretary of Goan Athletics Association late Paresh Kamat who is the mentor behind this Mountain Run. Last date to submit entries is August 10.
