PANJIM: MRF Sports Club defeated Pilerne Cricket Club by 9 wickets in the Goa Cricket Association’s C Division final played at Goa Cricket Academy ground, Porvorim, on Thursday.
MRF SC bowled brilliantly to restrict Pilerne CC to 42 runs as Chaitanya Mardolkar picked 6 wickets while Swapnil Gugale picked 4 wickets to bundle out Pilerne CC.
Virendra Rane (10) was the top scorer for Pilerne CC
In reply, MRF SC scored 46 runs for 1 wicket in six overs. Swapnil Gugale (28) and Paras Gawli (16) were the top scorers.
