RAIA: Mt Mary’s HSS of Chinchinim, Swami Vivekanand HSS of Borim, Keshav Smruti HSS of Dabolim and Navy Children HSS of Vasco moved ahead in the Zone III inter-HSS boys football tournament matches played at Ambelim Football ground.
In the first match – Mt Mary’s HSS defeated Presentation Covent HSS of Fatorda by 3-1 goals. Alexander netted a brace while Sohail was the other scorer. Josley reduced the margin for Presentation HSS. Swami Vivekanand HSS also move ahead with 4-1 tie-breaker win over GVM’s SNJA HSS after the match ended in goalless draw.

Keshav Smruti HSS of Dabolim defeated Damodar HSS by 4-1 goals. Royan Da Gama scored a brace while Prem Vosmani and Sonu Sharma scored a goal each for Keshav Smruti HSS. The only goal for Damodar HSS was netted by Harshvardhan. At Dramapur football ground – Navy Children HSS of Vasco defeated Fr Agnel Multipurpose HSS of Verna, 8-7, after the match ended in 3-3 draw.
Rosary HSS of Navelim thrashed Navy Children HSS of Vasco, 11-0, to register a big win in the Zone III inter HSS girls football tournament played at Dramapur football ground. Swellen Fernandes netted a hat-trick, Riya Patre, Merecia Tavares and Merlyn Mascarenhas scored a brace while Fatima Braganza and Paloma Pires scored a goal each for Rosary HSS.
