CANDOLIM: Murod Boys scored a comfortable 3-0 win over Young Boys of Aradi B, in the Silver Sands Candolim inter-ward football tournament, organised by United Boys of Camotim, at Candolim ground, on Thursday.
Three minutes into the match Murod came with a threatening move however Canute D’Souza fierce strike paired to safety by Aradi keeper. Couple of minutes later, Murod once again came attacking and this time tasted success through Nehal Naik who guided in Cassius shot, 1-0.
Nehal scored his brace before going into the lemon break when he positioned himself well to tap in a pass by Harish, 2-0.
Changing ends Murod further inflated their lead through Canute D’Souza long range strike making it 3-0.
