Naika Vaddo in semis

A fine brace by Cliff Fernandes helped Naikka Vaddo trounce Agar Vaddo 3-0 and book their place in the semi-finals of Gaura Vaddo inter-ward football tournament at Calangute Association ground, here on Wednesday.
The teams began the match on a promising note and missed a couple of scoring opportunities in the first session.
Changing over, Naikka shot into lead in the 5th minute through Allwyn off a Filipe Fernandes corner. 
Agar Vaddo tried to bounce back but failed to restore parity. They were finally undone by a fine brace by Cliff Fernandes off solo runs in the 15th and 25th minutes.
