PANJIM: The second round of Indian National Autocross Championship 2023 and Time Attack event for 4-wheelers will be held at Goa Engineering College ground, Farmagudi, Ponda, on April 29 and 30..

Sixty percent of racers are expected to be Goans, according to Mr Sharmad Raiturkar, President, All Goa Motorsports Association, which will organise the event in collaboration with Indian Automotive Racing Club (IARC), Mumbai and  Bangalore Motor Sports. Around 100 dirt track racers from all over the country  are expected to participate. 

Farad Bhathena, Director, IARC , said, “We are keen to hold this event in Goa, primarily to attract locals and grassroots motorsports talent. The event is open to all car enthusiasts and entries/ registrations are open on the IARC website.”

Participants can register for the event as a ‘Pro-Expert’ which is open to professional drivers with significant racing experience, ‘Pro-Amateur’ which is open to experienced drivers who are not professional racers and ‘Amateur’ who are beginners and newcomers to racing.
