Navelim Veteran broke the deadlock in the 20th minute when striker Philip Zidane beat the rival goalkeeper with a clinical finish off a well-measured cross from Frank Fernandes.
Spurred by the success, Navelim Veterans intensified their attacks. However, Benaulim goalkeeper Constancio D’Silva brought up super saves and restricted the score to 1-0 at half time.
Post resumption, Navelim Veterans continued to dictate terms and fired couple of pot shots against the rival goal. Soccoro Pereira scored the insurance goal in the 50th minute off a pass from Cajie Pereira.
On Friday, a second half strike by Roben Pinheiro helped Raia Veteran overcome Quepem Veteran 1-0 to storm into the quarter-final.
