CHINCHINIM: Navelim SC shot-out Ambelim SC 6-5 via the tie-breaker to move into the final of the 2nd CRCC Cup organised by CRC Chinchinim, at CRC Chinchinim ground, on Wednesday.
Navelim striker Aulon Gomes missed the chance to score in the ninth minute. Two minutes later, Navelim’s midfielder Climax Lawrence’s shot hit the Ambelim side netting and went out of play.
Later in the 36th minute, Ambelim’s Jade Colaco’s left footer shot was saved by the Navelim keeper.
In the tie-breaker, Navelim SC proved to be better shooters.
Navelim SC will now meet Cuncolim Union in the final.
