RAIA: Navelim Veterans defeated Varca Orlim Veterans 8-7 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of Rosary Veterans football tournament, at Davorlim ground, Wednesday. The teams were tied 4-4 at full time.
Climax Lawrence netted a hat-trick and Bonny Carvalho scored one goal for Navelim Veterans. Elvis Furtado, Roque Fernandes, Alexinho Lima and Soccoro Pereira netted a goal each for Varca Orlim Veterans.
